Arrive at Dar Es Salaam International Airport. You will be taken to the Mediteraneo Hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Here you will stay on a bed and breakfast basis giving you the freedom of the excellent restaurant or the local pub.
You will be taken to Mikumi National Park, here you will have lunch before going on an afternoon game drive. Later in the afternoon time, you can spot tree climbing lions and large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephant. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kikoboga Wildlife Lodge.
You will be taken to Ruaha National Park, there you will stay at Tandala Tented Camp. This is a superb camp with brilliant food and services, where large herds of elephants frequently come to drink water from the Swimming pool.
Full day you can explore this spectacular park looking for Wild Dogs, cheetahs and super prides of up to 20 lions.
Today, you will be taken to the Udzungwa Mountains National Park (via Ismila Stone Age Site), packed lunch will be provided en-route. You will overnight stay at Hondo Hondo Tented Camp where you will be entertained by a local drumming troupe performing beneath the stars specially for you.
Hike into the pristine Eastern Arc Forest famed for its high degree of endemism. Here you will climb, looking for endemic primates on the way, to the top of Sanje Waterfall where you can swim in plunge pools and see Africa Violets growing on the rocks. Picnic lunch will be there, on the rocks at the top of the 180m waterfall. In the afternoon you can descend slowly before returning to Hondo Hondo for dinner and overnight stay.
Leave early and you will be taken to the Selous Game Reserve. Lunch will be en-route in Morogoro. The Selous is the largest conservation area in the world with the exception of the Polar Regions. There you will stay at Sable Mountain Lodge.
Full day there would be game drives exploring the Selous, dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manze Tented Camp.
In the morning there will be a walking safari (with armed ranger for your protection), in afternoon, boat safari. Later dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manze.
Final morning game drive, then you have to catch the 9.45 flight from Siwandu Airstrip in Selous to Zanzibar. From there you will be taken to Zanzibar Dolphin View Paradise. This is a wonderful hotel in Kazimkazi, ideally placed for you to swim with the dolphins in the Menai Bay Marine Park. Tere you will stay on a half board basis, also giving you the chance to eat out on any excursions you may wish to go on (for example visiting the habituated troupe of endemic Zanzibar Red Colobus st Jozani National Park or a spice tour).
Half board at your hotel, activities as you wish Â or you may just relax on the idyllic private beach.
You will be taken to the Zanzibar International Airport for your flight back to home.
